01 — WHY WE MADE THIS

The Study of Stillness is MUR LEN’s quiet interpretation of an advent — created as a counterpoint to a season defined by urgency, noise, and excess. Instead of counting down, this ritual asks you to slow your attention, notice your own pace, and move through ten days of deliberate stillness.
Each edition is made by hand, independent from one another, and personalized to you.

02 — HOW IT WORKS

Over ten days, you will open a sequence of sculptural and symbolic objects composed of silver, gold, clay, and archival fragments. Each object arrives with a daily prompt and a puzzle piece placed inside your field journal. The hand-molded tray becomes the landscape for your study, shifting gradually as each object enters the space.

There is no fixed start date. You can open the study in December, in the new year, or whenever the world feels too loud. Stillness does not require timing, only attention.

03 — THE CONSTELLATION

THIS EDITION IS LIMITED TO FIFTEEN.

You may keep these pages entirely for yourself, or share fragments of them within the small group of fifteen moving through the study with you.

In your Jorunal, you will see a QR code which when scanned, will lead your to The Constellation, an anonymous digital archive created by the fifteen participants experiencing this work together, yet apart. Both choices are valid. Both create meaning.

04 — PERSONALIZATION

Your edition is created specifically for you. After checkout, you will receive a Google Form that gathers a few details about your preferences, your jewelry signatures, and the symbol that guides the design of your custom pendant. Your responses shape the curation and composition of your study.
